Call for papers

Delegates are invited to submit a preliminary abstract in English for review, compliant with any of the 10th ICAM themes. Only online submissions via www.icam2011.org shall be considered.

Guided poster sessions
The 2011 event will see a revival of the highly successful ‘guided poster sessions’ from the 8th ICAM congress in Brazil 2004. All authors shall be required to submit a poster, an effective means of communicating to other delegates.

Publications
All official 10th ICAM publications shall be available on digital media. Printed hardcopies of the proceedings shall be available for pre-order through the congress website.

Submission and peer-review
After acceptance of the preliminary abstract, authors will be invited to submit an extended abstract and a full manuscript (and a poster). Extended abstracts and full manuscripts will be subject to a journal-style peer-review process using an online editorial system. Deadlines are given in the table below.

Call for workshops

One or two-day workshops will be organized on 30 and 31 July 2011, directly preceding the actual 10th ICAM congress. To respond to emerging themes and hot issues within the 10th ICAM scope, you are herewith invited to submit your workshop proposal.

Proposals shall include:
1. title and brief content description
2. audience type and prospective number of participants
3. budget with cost breakdown and suggested registration fee for the workshop.

Proposals shall be submitted to 10th ICAM secretary Mrs. Anne Liinamaa-Dehls at secretary.icam2011@NGU.no. All submitted proposals will be screened by the organizers, and selected themes will be announced in the second circular.
